Wednesday Nights

Wednesday nights are especially busy at Tapp. Come and join us for one of our many fellowship activities. Many of these offer an opportunity to get to know us in an casual and leisurely setting. No pressure!

Kids Venture

The church takes a bus to the Elementary and Middle schools each Wednesday to pick up those children (K through 6th grade) who are registered to ride with us (forms are available through the church office) and bring them to the church. There we have a "VBS Style" program for the children until 5:30 p.m. when parents come to pick them up. It is a wonderful program that the children truly love.

Wednesday Fellowship Suppers

Each Wednesday during the school year, we serve a Fellowship Supper at 5:30 p.m. for $4.00. This is a great time of fellowship between church members and friends. Reservations by Tuesday noon are required so that the men who cook know how much food to provide. You can make a reservation by calling the church office, as well as find out that weeks menu! Its a great way to meet the members of the church and find out about us. Plus where else are you going to find a $4.00 meal?

UMYF

Our United Methodist Youth Fellowship meets twice a week, once on Sunday evening and again on Wednesdays. Both are at 6:00 and are for Junior and Senior High youth of all denominations. Even thought the name is United Methodist Youth Fellowship all youth are welcome regardless of their religious preference or affiliation. Our youth director, Shasta Hanson, can give you more information.

Chancel Choir

Our Chancel Choir has rehearsal at 6:30 on Wednesday nights in the sanctuary. Everyone is invited to come and join in with making music for the Lord's church. You certainly do not have to be a professional or have a trained voice to become a part. And the choir is more than just a weekly gathering of singers, they enjoy fellowship together throughout the year. They're a great group to belong to! Contact our choir director, Charlie Melton, for more information.
